Registering with us for Permanent or Temporary positions is easy.
We have endeavoured to make registering with Barclay Kane a simple, pain free process. We understand that time is a precious commodity. With this in mind we will not put you through unnecessary typing and software tests. We respect the fact that such skills are part and parcel of the job you already do. We only administer tests if they are specifically requested by a client, in regards to a role that you are applying for.

The temporary placement side of our business moves very quickly. Vacancies are predominately filled immediately upon receipt from our clients using our bank of pre-registered temporary staff. If you are available for short or long-term bookings, or will be in the near future, we recommend registering with us as soon as possible. This enables us to offer you temporary roles the moment they become available.

All candidates registered with Barclay Kane follow a simple, time efficient process:

  • Upon receipt of your CV you will receive a telephone pre-screening call to evaluate your skill set and determine that Barclay Kane can assist with you with your job search.

  • You will then be asked to attend an interview at our offices, a number of our clients will not accept CV’s that are not supported by a candidate profile completed by one of our consultants.  This interview will focus on skills, personality and suitability for current and forthcoming roles.  This ensures that we truly understand what you are looking for from your next role and we feel puts us in the best position to represent you effectively.  However we will not go through the face to face process unless we feel we can assist you in your job search we understand that you are busy people and that your time is limited.

  • Copies of your passport/working visa will be taken for all candidates registered to confirm identity and eligibility to work within the UK.

  • Candidates seeking temporary work are asked to supply 2 recent work references.

  • All candidates registered will be asked to sign a Workseekers agreement as a contract of services.

  • Barclay Kane has the facility to conduct Personality profiling. People are the key to success in our business, and personality profiling can help employers develop a more focused and effective workforce. Helping employees to take responsibility for their own personal development will lead to increased levels of self-confidence and motivation.

    Through simply answering a selection of questions honestly, learn to understand your own personality and behavioral traits, as well as recognising them in others.
